All Mountain Adventurers – Skiing And Riding

10 Week Program For Ages 5-13

Sign up for the 25/26 Season Now!

Explore over 600 acres of skiing and riding at Saddleback this season. The All-Mountain Adventurers program offers children ages 5-13 season-long fun. Make friends, improve skiing/riding skills, and develop risk assessment and outdoor safety awareness.

This is a 10-week program on Saturdays or Sundays commencing January 2026

Our Roger Page Ski & Ride School team looks forward to building relationships with your child throughout the season and showing them all that the Saddleback community has to offer.

Why All-Mountain Adventurers?

From greens to glide, blues to cruise, and black diamonds to conquer, Saddleback offers a wide variety of expansive terrain and challenges that will help your child progress. Daily snow conditions and available terrain will dictate where our groups will explore. Some days we will be on groomed terrain learning front-side tactics and techniques, including an introduction to ski racing. As conditions allow, older groups will venture into bumps, trees, and steeps.  The daily terrain selection will be based on conditions and the age and skill level of the group.

Saturday programming is available as a full-day or half-day option. The morning session will be split based on level of skiing or riding ability.  In the afternoon, Level 3/4 groups will divide into two smaller groups for more personalized instruction that will introduce carving, navigating ungroomed terrain, and taking the leap to be an all-mountain skier/rider. Level 5/6/7 groups will also split based on their interests, with options to focus on freeride skills or all-mountain skiing/riding. This structure allows each participant to build confidence, refine technique, and enjoy the mountain in a way that aligns with their goals.

Sundays will be half day only and groups will remain split based on age and ability, rather than interest.

This program focuses on two pillars – a sense of community and safety.

Community – Groups are formed based on age and ability. Attendance is paramount to the success of the group, so we ask you to commit to a minimum of 8 of the 10 weeks. Coaches remain the same throughout the program to build positive instructional and interpersonal relationships. This group setting is an amazing way for your child to make new friends!

Safety – Teach your child to evaluate risks and assess variable terrain.

Program Includes

  • 10 weeks of instruction
  • Daily lunch. Lunch is included in the program cost, but we recommend that you pack a couple of easy snacks for the morning and afternoon. Calories keep your child warm!

What Ability Level Is My Skier/Rider?

When selecting the level your child is at, please consider the skills they have, rather than the terrain they can complete.  At Roger Page Ski and Ride School, we learn/refine new skills on easier terrain so that we are more successful on difficult terrain. This might feel frustrating at first, but we promise your child will have an opportunity to challenge themselves and improve their technical ability!

  • Offered for Saturday or Sunday sessions
  • 10 weeks
